We couldn’t have Prison Movie Month without some Women Prison Movies. This one is from 1982 and stars Amy Madigan.
Based on a true story, Amy plays Terry Jean Moore who gets busted for participating in an armed robbery and gets sent to prison. While in prison, she gets it on with a Prison Guard played by Beau Bridges and gets pregnant. The story involves her fight to have and keep the baby while being in prison.
Look for Mackenzie Phillips who plays a great role as J. J. She plays a fantastic role as a butch who befriends Terry Jean Moore.
This movie has everything for a Prison Movie Afficionado including fights, as well as sex.
